Hello

Rooted in Cherokee heritage, family, and the enduring lessons of nature, Meredith Rae Fraser writes children’s stories that encourage courage, connection, and curiosity. A lifelong educator and storyteller, Meredith draws inspiration from her family, her culture, and the traditions passed down through generations to create meaningful books that help children see both themselves and the world around them in new ways.

Her debut children’s book introduces young readers to the beauty of Cherokee culture through a heartfelt story about bravery, self-confidence, and finding the courage to participate even when something feels overwhelming. Inspired in part by her neurodivergent grandson’s experience attending a powwow, the story gently reminds children that being brave doesn’t mean being fearless — it means trying anyway.
